Voila, that's it, after a rather loaded summer schedule for all the team members, the prototype of Alice en Pièces is now available for direct download in The Game section and The Prototype!
The whole team is very proud to have this experience led to the end despite occasional consistent difficulties.
We obviously thank everyone who participated in this project, with special thanks to some of them (they'll recognize themselves ;)).
If you have questions concerning the prototype, the project or anything else, feel free to contact us. The answer will be slow in coming but it will come, promise ^^.
For information, we finished second in four (some would say first tie) with an average of 16.4/20. All members of the jury "kiffed their mom" and found the final quality, rendering astonishing, especially for a team of students).
So bravo to everyone, thank you all for participating in this adventure and to have remained till the end even beyond ^ ^.
We all have the mails of each other, so the contact is not lost.
See you soon for new adventures: D.

Hi there!!!
Before we get started, a little freeze frame ;)
That’s it for the humour break of the day ^^ Let’s get back to serious matters! In our agenda today, about twenty new screenshots of the greediness parcel ;) Uploading a few exemples below, but just have a look in the gallery section, so you see them all :P
Also news about the evolution of the project : the end of the year is coming and so is our ultimate deadline ! We had the opportunity to pass two mock presentations this week which turned out to be encouraging even though we can improve it :P .
We will surely post a message about the jury later next month, but in a nutshell : the presentation of the project lasts 40 minutes, which must include an oral presentation of the game as well as a prototype demonstration. Time distribution is up to the other projects’ groups.
Hostilities begin on the 20th of June, but you’ll have news before that;) (and a trailer soon, we promise :P)
And voilà, time to go back to work (at last) !!! Have a good week end, and see you soon :P
*Kisses* :D
Back at last !

After more than a month without news (and no images), we are back at last! One can say that the rush to the end of production has been experiencing, and has not left us much time to keep you informed of our progress.
The end of production thus took place in joy and good humour. We have a few small delays, particularly with the dolls animations, but nothing very serious and the game begins to become really consistent, either visually or in terms of gameplay!
All gameplay elements now function: the sewing and unsewing system, resources system, photos, Alice’s diary, objects creation, repairing system and the dynamic mini-map! If we have time we will try to add a few funny features ^^. The biggest part remaining is to refine the dolls AI (who are still a little too… dumb :D ).
By the way, the first trailer of the game should be available in the upcoming weeks;) We will keep you informed!
But when you end a rush, another one begins, and we are now entering the hard phase of prototyping: during the past week we shaped the final prototype, which will be presented during our jury, the 20th of June. In parallel, we also started post production: finish textures missing, the last animations, terrain details and final building… anyway, the end of the year is gradually coming and we feel our work is coming to its end!
Pending more news, a big up has been made in the gallery section with more than 30 new screens, and you can find an interview of Marine in the press section :D
Fresh news about the team & the project :D

Hi everyone,
We are 4 weeks away from the end of the production from now on, and there is still so much to do! The upcoming weeks will be tough but we hold on ^^.
Good news on the gameplay field: dolls can interact with certain background elements, Alice can take them in her team, and they begin to interact with each other, which is very positive!
The sewing mode advances fairly quickly thanks to Thomas Leroy and the feeling is beginning to be very good for this part.
You can now play at the Wiimote, which is also very reassuring, although much of balancing to be done.
Students from IFSIC, meanwhile, are working on the creation of objects and the dynamic mini-map, which should be delivered soon.
The background and objects unsewing is also going to be delivered soon. We can't wait to test that ^^.
Quite a lot of cutscenes (ten) have also been conducted under the Cry Engine. It still lacks dialogue boxes and the voices :D.
It's incredible what animations bring to the game! Antoine and Ludo did a great job, it's nice to see this world come to life ^^.
And finally, we now welcome 2 new members into the team, in addition to a crew of actors from the National Theatre (who will make the dolls' voiceover): [b] Naym Abed el [/ b] (3D animator) [b] Marc Fournier [/ b] (composer). We also take this opportunity to salute our friend Vinod [b] [/ b] of Singapore without whom we would not have 16 dolls modelled :D.
Just in order to keep you informed: the first videos will be available during April ^^.
Stay tuned! ^^
We are back :P

Don’t you feel desperate !!! Here we are again to give you some news ;)
We’ve been away for a few weeks because we were in a bug rush : we had to deliver 2/3 of the prototype last Friday for our milestone. The good news is that we made it in time ! Of course, there still is a lack in gameplay elements and a lot of graphics to add but we’re working on it. Be reassured, everything is going according to plan :D
That’s it for the prototype progress, and to celebrate that a biiiiig up in the gallery section with lots of screenshots !!! No in game videos yet because we want to have more gameplay elements to show you ;)
Hop, here’s a few screenshots samples, the rest is here ;)
Another news by the way : the website will soon have a new section reachable via the « Media » menu. The new section is named “Press” and will contain plaquettes of the project (only in French, sorry about that ;) ), articles that were published in some magazines, etc. The section should be online tonight and should be filled tomorrow. Don’t hesitate to check it out ;)
Anyway, in case they would pass by, we wish to thank the people who came to see us during the presentation day of the school that occurred last Saturday :D
